Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

In 1996, Mountain Gorillas were declared ‘critically endangered’ with less than 200 surviving. Today, roughly, only 1,000 remain today. Though growing, it is simply not enough. Mountain Gorillas are found only in two regions being Congo & Rwanda. Humans share 98% of our DNA with Gorillas which means they have huge risks in diseases (such as Covid) like us BUT with no true immunities as we do as humans. As the biggest and strongest primate who truly are our relatives, we need to do better. Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is a community owned lodge to help with conservatory and preservation of the Mountain Gorillas. They do their part for Mother Earth & those who protect it. I cannot wait to go back and looking forward to increasing my support of such a wonderful endeavor, let alone on such beautiful grounds and welcoming people.
